About Us

Hi there! Thanks for visiting TilleyTree. We are Sasha and Dan Tilley, the co-owners of TilleyTree, established in lockdown, 2020.

TilleyTree is a small family business based in the little village of Bare, overlooking Morecambe Bay to the beautiful mountains of the Lake District. 

​After we got married during lockdown, we thought about where our journey would take us next and we were both keen to do something creative! Soon after, the TilleyTree idea was firmly planted within our minds....

During 2021, Sasha changed her career and now works full-time with mum, Claire, from their studio in Sasha & Dan's back garden! We are now a small team of 4, with Sash and Claire working alongside 2 friends who help us craft our products. 

​We want to create a high-quality customer experience, as well as take care of the beautiful world that we live in. In each package, you will find seed paper, which you can plant in your garden for the bees. All of our packaging is eco-friendly – even the stickers are biodegradable! 

​We find inspiration from all around us and plan on adding even more designs as the company grows. However, we can work to offer you personalised and bespoke services, so please get in touch as we would love to help turn your ideas into a reality! 

​The materials we work currently include slate and wood of varying thicknesses and types. If there is something you like the look of in our shop but want to personalise or change slightly – please just get in touch as we can work our designs around what you need. We can even send a preview of what it will look like before you make your final decision.
